Black Acoustic Ceiling Tile
$199.00
Black acoustic ceiling tiles sold under our SilentCeiling™ brand are used to absorb sound and reverberations within a room. If a room has an existing drop ceiling grid, replacing existing ceiling tiles with SilentCeiling tiles will make a dramatic difference as it absorbs much of the noise within the room. With SilentCeiling™ Acoustic Ceiling Tiles, building a drop grid ceiling with excellent sound absorption properties is now more cost-effective than ever. These acoustic ceiling tiles feature a crisp, matte black fabric on one side.
In both residential and commercial applications, the acoustic drop ceiling will help to create a “disappearing” acoustic tile ceiling that has a sharp and attractive look. Achieve NRC values up to 1.00 by easily installing these lightweight grid ceiling tiles.

SilentCeiling™ Black Acoustic Ceiling Tiles eliminates noise in a room for conversations to be heard more clearly. By controlling excessive room reverberations, these acoustic tiles eliminate slap-echo between floor and ceiling surfaces. Additionally, these tiles visually and audibly “disappear” by improving the signal-to-noise ratio for listening, recording, and conversation.Easy Installation:
Black acoustic drop ceiling tiles are ideal for drop ceiling grid systems and are available as a 2 Ft x 2 Ft or 2 Ft x 4 Ft grid ceiling tile. Install a custom acoustic tile ceiling by trimming the tile to size with a Utility Knife. Tiles are designed for installation in a standard t-bar suspended drop ceiling grid. Sound Acoustic Solutions offers all of the supplies you will need to install a sound-absorbing tile ceiling.Applications:

Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound
$169.99 – $420.00Price range: $169.99 through $420.00Green Glue is a visco-elastic soundproofing compound that, when sandwiched between two layers of a rigid material, greatly reduces the amount of sound transmission through walls or ceilings and reduces the amount of noise generated from impacts on floors. Available in 28 ounces tubes or 5-gallon pails.
Green Glue Noise proofing Compound for acoustics is a unique technology that can benefit both new construction and renovation projects. It is uniquely formulated to dissipate the vibrations caused by sound waves as they travel through ceilings, walls, and floors.
By dampening vibrations, Green Glue can reduce the amount of noise transferring from one side of the structure to the other. Green Glue works so well because it will always remain in a tacky state. Green Glue Noise proofing compound will never dry out and become rigid.
Green Glue Noise proofing Compound is fast and easy to apply. Just cut the tip, attach the nozzle, and Green Glue is ready to dispense using any standard quart-size caulk gun such as the Green Glue Tube Applicator. Apply Green Glue beads evenly over the entire back of the first layer of gypsum or sub flooring. Leave 3 inches on edge for handling. Install the second layer of gypsum or sub-flooring within 15 minutes, using proper screws and screw spacing.
FEATURES:
- Applies in just minutes
- Improves sound transmission loss
- Helps block sound
- Superb low frequency attenuation
- Easy to apply
- Non-toxic
For applying Green Glue, we recommend purchasing the Green Glue Applicator Gun. This caulking gun is designed specifically for easy and precise application of Green Glue.
* * * Green Glue is not a fastening glue; it will not hold the two boards together, so additional fastening is required to keep boards in place. * * *
