Green Glue Noiseproofing Sealant
$13.75 – $165.00Green Glue Noiseproofing Acoustical Sealant is used to fill in the gaps, spaces or cracks in walls, corners or any gap sound can pass though. The Green Glue company’s own formula of sealant is an excellent product and superior to standard caulking. This sealant is the perfect companion to the Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound. Once a wall installation is complete with the compound, sealant should be used around the perimeter of the wall and where outlets are located to seal any gap between the outlet box and drywall. It can also be used around windows, doors and fixtures around the house.
It is import to use a sealant that does not dry or harden. Over the course of the year a homes walls typically expands and contracts due to humidity changes and seasonal temperature changes. Using a superior acoustical caulking that does not dry, crack or peel insures gaps don’t show up. Properly sealing a wall can almost double the sound proofing performance.
