Mineral Wool Board
SilentFiber™ Mineral Wool Boards are made from natural stone and recycled content providing superior sound absorbency and fire protection. Effective Sound Absorption: Eliminate unwanted boundary reflections with SilentFiber™ Mineral Wool Boards. The boards are excellent at controlsling excessive room reverberation and eliminates slap-echo between parallel surfaces. Additionally, improve signal-to-noise ratio in any space and achieve NRC ratings up to 1.10. Boards are fireproof with a melting point of 2,150°F.

SilentWrap™ with Lag
SilentWrap™ with Lag is a multi-purpose composite material, primarily used to wrap HVAC ducts, featuring a flexible SilentWrap™ barrier (Mass loaded Vinyl) laminated to an insulating and acoustical Quilted Fiberglass Decoupler on one side, and a protective layer of Foil Scrim Kraft (FSK) on the other.
The fiberglass decoupler is available in 1″ and 2″ variations, providing both thermal and vibration insulation. This combination forms a thin, lightweight acoustical product that provides superior sound transmission loss. The Foil Scrim Kraft outer layer is also a fire rated product and can be used in many commercial applications.
Sound waves originating from the source will be initially absorbed by the fiberglass and then blocked by the mass loaded vinyl. Any reflected sound wave components will be further dissipated into the fiberglass absorber.

SilentCeiling™ Cap
SilentCeiling™ Cap is a multi-purpose composite material, primarily used in above ceiling applications to block sound from escaping.
It features a flexible SilentWrap™ barrier (MLV) laminated to a 1 inch insulating and acoustic Quilted Fiberglass Decoupler on one side and a protective layer of Foil Scrim Kraft on the other. Meets ASTM E-84, Class A Rating.

Formaldehyde Free Fiberglass Boards
Formaldehyde free boards are available plain or fabricated. Sold under the SilentFiber™ Line, Knauf Ecose® boards are an environmentally friendly brown formaldehyde free acoustic board with ECOSE technology, a plant-based binder. It does not include phenol, acrylics or artificial colors found in traditional fiberglass board. These boards offer some of the most acoustic absorption ratings available.
Available in both plain brown or with a high impact facing. These Formaldehyde Free Fiberglass Boards offer the green advantage over regular fiberglass boards with no formaldehyde binders.
